Planning
Often children have some minor difficulties when learning new skills but usually they manage in the end. When pressure increases things can become harder for some children. Transitioning to middle school is in some cases very difficult. They can’t seem to get organised. The changing schedules, classrooms, homework, organising the daily schoolbag and out of school activities turns out to be too much. Continuing chaos and stress is the result.
I teach the child how to organise themselves and all tasks in a structural way so that they get grip on their days and weeks. Furthermore we look at how to generalise these skills to different situations.
